Bosch GP712VS Polisher:

On our recent trip to SEMA/AAPEX 2012, we got to check out a couple of tools in the Bosch booth. One of which was the new Bosch GP712VS – a variable speed polisher that boasts these features:

  • Soft-Start with “Constant Response Circuitry”
  • Directable air flow, to keep dust away from where it shouldn’t be
  • Motor Brushes that stop the motor when it’s time to change
  • Spindle Lock

Also, according to Bosch, the rat-tail design and switch with Locking “ON” position, makes the tool easier and more comfortable to use over long periods of time.

Something about hydraulic magnets

A magnetic end effector, also known as a magnetic gripper, is a versatile tool used in robotics for gripping and handling objects. While magnets can weaken over time due to factors like temperature and external magnetic fields, magnetic end effectors are designed to maintain their strength and durability. With their magnetic force, they provide a reliable and efficient method for object manipulation, ensuring secure gripping and precise control. The magnetic end effector’s longevity and consistent performance make it an invaluable tool in various industries, from manufacturing to logistics and beyond.
